Sneaker Talk: 5 Shoes to Buy in 2020

Here is my personal opinion for shoes that I'd recommend buying if you want to invest in them.

If you’re curious on what shoes to buy as a sort of investment, look no further. I’ll be going over 5 shoes that I highly recommend buying right now.

#5 Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Cinder

When Kanye West stated that he wanted everyone to be able to own a pair of Yeezys, he literally meant it. Within the past 2 years, we have gotten so many different Yeezys. Particularly the 350 v2 model, which has been milked to its fullest extent. Despite all of that, more than 75% of his recent Yeezys that he’s dropped has held its value throughout the years. At first glance, this basically looks like the Black Non-Reflective that he dropped last year. Well you are correct, its an all black shoe but with a gum bottom that is also seen on the 350 v2 Earth. You really can’t go wrong with an all black yeezy. The Black Non-Reflectives held its price and is still pretty high right now. It should be a no brainer that these will go up by end of the year.

SKU/STYLE: FY2903

BEST SIZES: 5.5 – 7 ($400 EACH) 8 – 9.5 ($375 EACH)

FUTURE ESTIMATION: $500-550 MAX (25% – 40% MARGIN)

#4 Nike Dunk Low Brazil (2020)

BRAZIL

This year marks Nike’s return to its famous Dunk silhouette. With Dunks rolling out every other month, the Nike Dunk is probably one of the hottest commodity right now. 2 pairs came out earlier in the year, Syracuse & Kentucky. When the early stages of COVID-19 scared everyone, both Syracuse and Kentucky were very cheap. Now they’re almost doubling in price. Although those shoes might be easier to wear as compared to the Brazils, nonetheless these dunks will go up because like I’ve mentioned before, the Nike Dunk is one of the hottest commodity right now.

SKU/STYLE: CU1727 – 700

BEST SIZES: 8 – 10 ($300 EACH)

FUTURE ESTIMATION: $450 MAX (50% MARGIN)

#3 Nike Dunk Low Champ Colors

Just like I’ve mentioned before, the Nike Dunks are hot right now. Every Dunk that Nike has released this year has hit. Plums, Syracuse, Kentucky, Brazil, and St. Johns all hit. There’s nothing much left to say but these are for sure bound to go up in value throughout the months.

SKU/STYLE: CU1727 – 800

BEST SIZES: 8 – 10 ($300 EACH)

FUTURE ESTIMATION: $450 MAX (50% MARGIN)

#2 AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO HIGH ROYAL TOE

Jordan Brand has released so many AJ1s throughout the past 2 years that it’s almost becoming like the new Roshe Runs and Yeezy 350s. Jokes aside, the one thing (see what I did there? haha) about AJ1s is that they ALWAYS hold value no matter what. Unless it’s a shitty colorway like the Yellow Flights & Bloodlines, you’re bound to make money by investing in some AJ1s. These in particular are a good investment because these aren’t too bad honestly. Decent color blocking, great quality, and it can somewhat give off that Fragment 1 look.

SKU/STYLE: 555088 – 041

BEST SIZES: 8 – 10 ($275 EACH)

FUTURE ESTIMATION: $500 MAX (85% MARGIN)

#1 AIR JORDAN 1 RETRO HIGH COURT PURPLE WHITE/2.0

These shoes are honestly at a great price to buy right now. Amazing colorblocking. It’s essentially a Purple Chicago. Probably one of the more wider releases, the colorblocking of this shoes makes it much easier for it to hold its value.

SKU/STYLE: 555088 – 500

BEST SIZES: 8 – 10 ($265 EACH)

FUTURE ESTIMATION: $500 MAX (95% MARGIN)
