Travis Scott is one of the biggest influencer to this generation. He has an ongoing partnership with Nike and Jordan Brand, which have made him one of today’s most important figure in the sneaker industry. To compare, he’s released more shoes with Nike than Kanye West ever did. With a variety of shoes under his name, I’ll be ranking his shoes from WORST TO BEST.
#10 NIKE AIR MAX 270 REACT TRAVIS SCOTT
Travis Scott’s latest shoe that is expected to release within the following months is easily one of his worst collaborations of all time. I’ve mentioned it before on my review, so if you want to read the full review, here’s the link. TLDR; no one asked for this collaboration.
#9 AIR JORDAN 33 TRAVIS SCOTT
Just like his upcoming Air Max 270 React collaboration, no one asked for a Jordan 33 collaboration. Jordan brand’s only reason for tapping Travis Scott into this collaboration was to market it towards a group of consumers that will fall for buying into the Jordan 33 line. Coincidentally enough, this was one of Jordan brand’s newest model/silhouette so it was smart of them to have Travis design this shoe.
#8 NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW TRAVIS SCOTT CACTUS JACK
2019 was the year of Air Forces undeniably. CLOT released 2 different Silk themed AF1s, G-Dragon had his collaboration on the AF1 model, and we have Travis Scott’s latest AF1 collaboration. This shoe is just so damn loud. Too many things going around. The only cool thing about this shoe is the box that came with the shoe. It had the cactus jack logo and emoji face on the sides, with a fossil themed color for the box. Other than that, this shoe wasn’t really memorable at all. You either like this shoe because you’re a hypebeast or you like whatever Travis puts out.
#7 NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW TRAVIS SCOTT (AF100)
Being a Complex Con exclusive, this was Travis Scott’s first shoe that he was able to work on. All canvas upper so if you try them on once, you’re bound to crease the toebox. This shoe is alright. It’s basically an all white canvas AF1 with gum sole and customizable swooshes. Other than that, there’s really nothing to it.
#6 AIR JORDAN 1 LOW TRAVIS SCOTT
Despite its colorblocking, overall it’s not a bad shoe. I actually prefer this colorblocking if they made it as a AJ1 High. Other than that, its a low which many people don’t like at all. It’s either highs or none at all. The fact that people were paying $1,000 for some Jordan 1 Lows proves that Travis Scott can literally make any silhouette popular again.
#5 NIKE AIR FORCE 1 LOW TRAVIS SCOTT SAIL
This shoe is essentially the same pair as the white version he dropped, but only this time it’s sail instead of white. Honestly, the Sail colorway looks a lot better than the white version. If I had to pick and choose which AF1 I’d wear, I’d easily choose these in a heartbeat.
#4 AIR JORDAN 4 TRAVIS SCOTT
This was Travis Scott’s first Jordan collaboration and he absolutely killed it. This colorway pays homage to the Houston Oilers baseball team. Definitely one of the better shoes that Travis had worked on. This is one of the few shoes where Travis had many different Friends and Family pairs floating around. The only bad thing about this shoe was the horrible QC. Glue marks everywhere.
#3 NIKE SB DUNK LOW TRAVIS SCOTT
This is the main reason why all SB prices are so fucked now. Give one of the biggest influencers a chance to have their own NIKE SB collaboration and you probably made one of the biggest shoes of 2020. This shoe is nice to look at but I wouldn’t personally wear them. If Travis ever releases the sample pair, then I’d wear those in a heartbeat.
#2 AIR JORDAN 6 TRAVIS SCOTT
Despite its decline in prices and demand, I actually like the design of this shoe. This shoe horribly never kept its value and I think that’s why now this shoe is overlooked. With a pocket on the side of the shoe, fraying on the tongue, and glow in the dark soles; this shoe had people who never wore Jordan 6s before in their life wear them all of a sudden.
#1 AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH TRAVIS SCOTT
This was obviously a no brainer. Travis had been hyping up the release of this shoe dating back to late 2018. He released this shoe first during the 2019 Super Bowl and the demand for the shoe grew immensely. This was my shoe of the year last year and I have no regrets saying that. I really like this shoe. Even though the shoe is dead, I enjoyed the times where I wore this shoe a lot.
